Purslane

I belive I have purslane growing in my yard. Is it safe for my leo. tort?

I don't think that's purslane. Does it have yellow flowers? Purslane is edible but very high in oxalates.

When I enlarge the picture it does look like purslane, shape of the individual leaves. Edible (and yummy!) but it should only be part of your tortoises diet because of the oxalates.

It does have the yellow flowers. Darn I was hoping for somthing cheap and fast growing to put into my new outdoor enclosure. I guess I will wait for the grass seed to take hold. Thank You.
