Hello!
This may seem an odd question/concern. I was just soaking my 5 year old redfoot, I am alwasy really touchy with her during her soaks and by that i mean i gently rub down her arms and legs and her head and beak just to make sure everything is clean before i let her chill. It might not be anything but i noticed her nose ares, right around her nostrils is soft, a little squishy.. ive never noticed that before. It also seems slightly discoloured.. a little pinkish. As far as i can recall her nose has always been pretty hard.. so im just wondering if this could be indicative of something? I recently changed her substrate to sphagnum moss because she was eating her cypress mulch and causing herself bowel issues. Could it be irritating her?
Thank you!
