No action is required on your part You don't have to do anything about his sexual development. Continue to give him the best possible environment & care. Do not get him a mate. Let me repeat that: don't get him a mate. Tortoises do not do well in pairs and the female suffers.

If you're in a position to establish a breeding colony, you might do that. First you'd have to quarantine the 2 or three new ones, and you'd need to enlarge the habitat considerably.

Just let him come to terms with it himself.
He might start to find objects in his enclosure irresistibly attractive.
One male tortoise, on another thread this week, started on the broccoli!
He'll be fine.

Well your right he has calmed right down and is yet to actually show an interest in anything but I guess that stage will come. I don't want him to grow up to quick though!
