I have a problem I think? My Sulcata in now in a much larger indoor enclosure I have the heat between 82 and 86 on a thermostat. His basking area 105 and a cooler area of 78 or so with a heat pad. My problem is going from his smaller enclosure he was always warm to the touch with the larger enclosure he is not as warm. I've checked his shell with the heat measuring tool (Lazer) it read 82. When I added his heat pad to his enclosure last night he slept on it all night long. Check his top shell temp while on his pad it was 90. Do you guys think that this was all he needed. Yesterday I notice when we went to feed Squirt his Mazuri he did not want it that was a first. So what I did was placed him under his basking lamp with the food and after 5 min he went to his food dish and ate it all. It like he does not know the basking lamp is even there???

He has just moved to the new enclosure so it could be he is a bit stressed with the change and just needs more time to settle again
