Hi
Just wondering what types of UV lighting is preferred amongst the Hinge keepers here.
My bells don't like the MVB on and tend to hide from it.
I do give the D3 powder on food but want to maybe try the UV tubes.
Any thoughts experiences appreciated thanks!!

You can absolutely use a long tube uva/uvb along with a heating light/element....

I do not host this species of tort....however, the mvb can be very intense for some torts and if yours is showing a great dislike then you may want to experiment a bit until you find a happy set up....

No two torts are exactly the same--each will have their own likes/dislikes and set ups that will create a thriving tort...

Also, my post here will bump your thread back to the front line--perhaps the bump will get you some species specific experienced caregivers a chance to offer you their advice...

Thanks for the reply-its a slow thread for sure.
I have purchased UV tubes now and fittings so may try those out with my hinges they are a 5.0 intensity. I use a che for heat mostly.Occasionally I have offered some mvb but they run away!
