Possible shell rot??

Two of my tortoises have had this quite dirty dry area around the seams of the shell for a couple months, I though it might just be new growth that’s all dirty from the coco coir but it hasn’t gone away. These tortoises don’t live together and the areas in question have no discharge and don’t smell. Thank you for any replies as I’m quite worried about it now.

I don't think I'm seeing any actual rot, but if you're worried, you can clean the area and rub in some athlete foot cream for a couple weeks.

Don't use too much, and rub it in. Then there will just be a thin film and hopefully the substrate won't stick to it too badly.
