possible eye infection?

So I noticed scootsie was rubbing his eye tonight and I looked at it and there was what looked like a thin layer of goopy stuff maybe. J havent noticed anything else like weezing or anything like that. Is this something I should be concerned about? Any ideas on how to help?

Have you changed the substrate yet?

The substrate is mostly coco coir. I just built a new habitat and put in freah substrate. Could that be the issue?

That looks like a swollen nictitating membrane. This is sometimes caused by stress and goes away when the stress is eliminated. You can put some soothing ointment on the eye, something like this:

Thanks Yvonne! It must be stress from going into the new table. I built a two story table with a ramp for him and he seems to like it now but he was definitely shy about it at first, so hopefully that's all it is.
