Poo - how often?

How often should tinyherms be pooing? He's done two (that I have spotted) in two weeks. Maybe he has eaten the others when I haven't been looking? I heard they like to do that.
Also - I don't think I've seen any evidence of pee - I note that some people say it is white and toothpaste texture, but I haven't seen any evidence of that.
Tinyherms is about 10 months old.
Your thoughts are very welcome!

Sometimes they pee clear so you won't be able to see it and it dries up pretty quick! My sulcatas pee clear and I can tell when they do owe because they make a funny wet sound haha. I wouldn't worry much about pee because most of the time they do it when your not around.

My hermann's tortoise poops nearly every day. However, when I first got her about 6 months ago, her poop was much less regular. I suspect that was partly because of the stress/loss of appetite from moving to a new environment, and partly because I didn't quite have the temperatures right. Some posters on here have said that a tortoise can't properly digest food unless their body temperature is 85* F or above (or something like that). The spot I had my tortoise in had an adequate ambient temperature, but when I checked with a temperature gun, my tortoise was not getting up to 85*. An infrared temperature gun is one of the best investments I made in tortoise-keeping (and they're pretty cheap!).

So monitor your temperatures, do frequent soaks, and keep feeding a healthy, varied diet... and soon you too will be scooping up tortoise poop every day. ;)

If you do it right they poop like a wild fire!! Every morning I wake up and scoop all the poop out of all there enclosures then go and dump it in the garbage can outside. When I come back to mist the enclosure and feed them I spot a little turd!!! It's like they don't stop!!!

Wow. Lots to look forward to, then! He is only tiny little bitty herms, so I can't scoop so much as pick/flick with a bit of tissue. He's soaking, eating and wandering around a lot, so should hopefully be more regular soon once we're in a routine and he's settled in more.

Oh, also, in case you're interested(!) he's been doing some pretty explosive urinations in the morning soak. So that side of things is working fine. :)

That's great news!! Mine urinate every time they get a soak. Glad everything is working just right with you and your torts!

Only one tort. singular. I don't even know what stress levels I might achieve if I had more than one at the moment! Hats off to the multi-tort-ed! Big respect.
