    They are all friendly but if I had to choose the friendliest of them all I would say female Egyptian tortoises

    My leopards are very friendly. I think the males more then the females. I notice that in a lot of others tortoises too, the males seeming to be more sociable.

    Redfoot are pretty calm. Not big on fighting, etc.

    The answer to this question really depends on how you define "friendly"?

    In my experience, sulcatas are generally the most outgoing, curious, friendly species.

    I'm not so sure.
    I have that one female that bites me while I'm doing pen maintenance.
    I've gotta keep an eye on her....And wear boots!
    I think the others might join in if she got me compromised.
