plexiglass...?

I noticed a lot of people using plexiglass with their tortoise tables and was wondering where I could find some for cheap. Home Depot here hasmedium pieces for 40$ and I only need about half a piece. Or maybe somewhere that sells or has scraps? I bought a Zoo Med Tortoise House because I am not very handy but I wanted to make a cut out on the front to add a viewing window

I went to lowes for mine. They cut it to the measurements i needed. I paid like $9
