i think the one wiht red in the middle is golden tickseed. No idea if it's edible or not that's just what it looks like

I think the first picture is a black-eyed susan. The other is some sort of daisy, but I don't know the actual name.

Yes, daisies of all types are edible. In fact the black-eyed susan grows wild in the desert and is desert tortoise food.

The second one looks like Huisache daisy. http://www.wildflower.org/plants/result.php?id_plant=AMSE

No information on whether it is edible, but there is the write up from the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower center.

The petals are different. The one in the picture as single petals. I'm not 100% sold on it being a bitterweed for that same reason. The first one is definitely golden tickseed though.
