Hello,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yardlong_bean

this yardlong veggie has protein and I was wondering would the leaves have high protein as well?
I was also told the shell or is it called pod of the beans can be fed, just avoid the seeds because the protein content is there, i wonder if that is true?

like green beans?

and then peanut leaves...is that edible for tort?

What an interesting-looking plant. I'd love to have one growing on my property!

It is my understanding that legumes aren't good food for tortoises. I don't know about the leaves, though.

In moderation, they would probably be fine. Many of us feed lots of clover to our torts, and clover is a legume.
