Plants and Gnats

I have been growing some RT seed mix indoors recently and there seems to be a lot of gnats always around them. I often kill lots of them by hand but then more appear the next day. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your growing medium may be too wet.

Stir it up gently with a fork, being careful to not disturb the roots, then sit it outside in the shade and let the air help dry it.

Thanks, how often do these plants need to be watered after the soil dries outside?
