Hi guys! So, I'm planting an I door storage garden for my little guy and I could use some advice for the set up. He's a greek, so he is smaller. I need a planter box that is short enough on the sides to allow him to graze on it when he wants to. Is there any recommendations you guys have? I was also wondering about lighting for the plants and what set up would work best for that.

I have my guys in the basement for the winter and am growing things under reg fluorescent tube lights. They are doing really good surprisingly. I cut mine out of planters and feed. Maybe a small kiddy pool with entrance holes cut out?

Good idea but I would need something a little smaller than that. I don't have a ton of room :/

Hi Emmykitty, I do tons of indoor gardening.

You can get fluorescent lights in different lengths. I was just chatting with another member about how to get started indoor gardening in the thread "Garden Chat for torts and people" in the off-topic chit chat section. Here is a link to the page where I mentioned how to choose lights etc...

As far as planter boxes. You can easily dig plant trays into substrate.

Here is a set on amazon with drainage holes...

Here's a set without holes

They're pretty flimsy, but get the job done. Let me know if you ever have questions or need any help:)
