I think that one is in the parsley family - wild carrot (or Queen Anne's Lace, Bird's Nest). It is edible.

That one is dock - toxic.

(its either curly dock or sour dock, I don't know the difference)

When you dig this one up, you have to dig deep and be sure to get ALL the root. It's like a carrot and goes deep. If you leave a little piece of root, it will grow back. Also, the seed stems have millions of seeds on them. Be sure to not allow the seeds to fall off those long stems.

And after seeing the first plant in a bigger picture (behind the dock, right?) I don't think its wild carrot. I don't know what it is.

Is it just because of the oxalate acid? I've seen it listed as ok in moderation.

Idk it grows all over the yard and I only have 3 of the dock plants but they are huge
