Do y’all have a plant ID app that you like. I have plant snap and haven’t had good results with it. Also curious if there is a camera you would recommend to keep an eye on him. Thanks

I've had good luck with PlantNet. I know the newer phones can just use Google to ID plants, but mine doesn't have that feature

Google Lens struggles to tell cucumber from zucchini sometimes :(

I've settled with Flora Incognita app. Not sure if it can tell dandelion from "cat's ears", but mostly works. It takes into account your location and you can make photos of different parts of the same plant to make more recognition more reliable.

As for the cameras - I've seen Wyze and Ring cameras often. Amazon Blink works too (but it requires Sync module or subscription to make recordings). I have a battery-backed Eufy camera.
