Hi, and welcome to the forum!

Because your baby is still so tiny, I think it is probably OK. It's hopefully increased blood flow to his shell and internal organs.

Is he eating well? Is he active?

He is eating pretty well, feeding with Gammarus. He is a little too active, I sometimes have to let him wander in my bed in order to calm down, he seems to have a lot of energy.

Thanks everyone for your help. Now I have found out that this baby is a river cooter and its plastra looks like that. I was mislead by the pet shop, they said that it is a sinensis.

It seems that the pink is more obvious after the turtle goes basking, so I guess it is normal after all.
