I think these are my Testudo horsfieldii horsfieldii

tortoise 2
tortoise 3


Testudo horsfieldii rustamovi

tortoise 4
tortoise 5


Testudo horsfieldii kazachstanica

tortoise 6


They are all rescues and most say the got them from petsmart/petco, or from a friend. Any info on sub-species would be greatly appreciated. If i'm wrong give me the let me know which ones and why? Eager to learn my Russian sub-species.

Maybe @tortadise or @Tom can help. All I know are they are Russians.

I don't think there are any members on the Forum who are well-versed in the Russian sub species. We used to have a member - EgyptianDan - who was good at it. Maybe @HermanniChris can tell you, but I'm not sure

They do not look like A. horsfieldii rustamovi at all to me, maybe A. h. kazakhstanica though.

Thank you for giving them a look, I've looked through egyptiandans thread extensively just wondering if there are any major characteristics i should be looking for? So HermanniChris they all look like A.h. kazakhstanica or just the ones i thought were A.h. rustamovi?
