Killer had a high concentration of pinworm eggs when we checked him two weeks ago. So I decided to try to take control of it by getting rid of all the coco coir (which was just purchased so $15 bucks gone) and temporarily house him on newspapers since it's easier to clean. I felt bad for him but I put emotions aside and gave him layers of newspaper in hopes that we could rid them 100% or close to it. He's just had his second dose of meds and I'm giving it another week before I give him his dirt back.
But guess what?! He loves (or seems to love) burying into the newspaper. He finds the edge pretty quickly and sleeps between the layers. Today he managed to wedge himself inside the grocery circular. If you look closely at the first picture you see his toe sticking out on the bottom.
Here he is.
I think I disturbed him. He doesn't look too happy.
