I live in western Pennsylvania and I have taken pictures of the most common weeds found in my area. I would love help on identifying what is safe for my tortoise and box turtles. I am nervous to feed them until I have the experts confirm what is safe and what is not . Dandelion leaves and clover are the only thing I feel comfortable with on my own. I would be grateful if someone could help me out that is more comfortable at identifying safe weeds. Thanks!ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430232971.417987.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430232984.013386.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430232993.297151.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430233003.206737.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430233013.040834.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430233022.315517.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430233031.832650.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430233043.416917.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430233054.692606.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430233063.751039.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430233073.027186.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1430233087.944397.jpg

My leopard enjoys broad and narrow leaf plantain but I didn't know it was called that this time last year - but I'm learning!
Have a look at this website for guidelines on what is safe or not www.thetortoisetable.org.uk
and leigti told me about an app/website called Garden Compass that you can send photos to and they will ID plants for you which may help.

Are you sure 4 isn't creeping Charlie? I know that is not safe to feed. Does it spread like a vine?

On 9 there is some creeping Charlie between the vioets, but I can't see any on 4.
It's not toxic (only for horses), but my tortoises don't really like it.

I also feed plantain, mallow, violets, chickweed, creeping buttercup and garlic mustard, my torts love all of them. ;)

Thanks everyone! 4 is not growing on a vine. This has been a great help.
