May I ask what illness she had? And what were the symptoms?

Thanks and sorry for your loss.

Sure!
Well When we got Raven and Dobby on aug they were very active eating a lot, everything was doing great. When the raining season arrive here in Puerto Rico everyday was raining and very cold and Dobby started to slow down everything. We were told that Dobby was trying to hibernate. So we started to avoid the hibernation. But Dobby keep getting worse and Raven was the same like a normal tortoise. ImageUploadedByTortForum1387499378.605013.jpg
Then the eyes of Raven started to look different. So we took them to the Vet and Dobby wasnt leaving any feces so couldnt do any analysis but Raven did poop so the vet do the analysis with Raven feces and we found out that Raven was filled with the blood sucking parasites. So we started to both of them the antibiotics and the medicen for the parasites but it was too late. Raven was pooping white feces with worms and started to bleed from behind the ears and two days later she was gone.

Dobby sure is a looker! Sorry to hear about Raven :( I just want to set one thing straight really quick. Red Foots don't hibernate. They do slow down a little in the winter, but the should still continue to eat, roam and be awake.

Well I truly don't quite know that for sure, because some people including a Vet told me that the do hibernate, others told me that they don't. I do know that all of them told me to keep them active, pleny of sun, fresh water and plenty of food, and keep them happy. But Dobby only wanted sleep all day. She lost a lot of weight, cause she wasn't eating. She went from a 424g to a 198g. Thats when we got her to the Vet and knew that she has pneomonia and Raven ws filled with advance stage of parasites.
And now Raven is in tortoise heaven, and were still dealing with Dobby, after the antibiotics and the medicine she is more active, less sleeping, eating like a big tort, she grew to 5" (shell) but still have the problem that she doesn't poop and yesterday was 2 weeks from her last one and I'm worried. She is eating almost everything, got the temp right, different substrate in the habitat for her to choose the best comfort, pleny of hidding places, pleny of sunlight, always walking in the habbitat, fresh water change 3 times a day, everyday I give har a nice bath in warm water and still nothing.

Are you sure Dobby is not eating the poo? Unfortunately they do like to do that!

Well actually there is no way to know for sure because I give her a warm bath almost every morning, and leave her plenty of differents types of food for her to choose during the day and after that I go to work and return in the night to check on her. So if she did poop during the day and eats it I dont know.
I maybe get a baby monitor to check on her

Try a little plain puréed pumpkin if you can find it. It is sold in grocery stores in the baking aisle, just make sure it is 100% pumpkin and nothing else added to it [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH] just a small dollop on top of some leafy greens should help.

I really love your habitat I'm hopping to do something like that in the future for my two three -toed box turtles.
