Our new baby...Pablo the Painted

So we got a new turtle today... Pablo the western painted turtle!

He's a keeper. Definitely a great turtle.

Love the Painted's. We have Eastern's all over the ponds here. I had them for years. So friendly and beautifull.

His shell is beautiful. I have southern one in my aquarium.

Thanks, everyone! So far he is doing GREAT! He's a very friendly little guy. Our RES just kind of does her own thing and tolerates us when she wants to. lol! But this little guy is quite social. We've gotten quite the laugh because he is small enough to float on the sticks/bark in the pond and our giant RES keeps trying to now as well and sinks them. It's been entertaining! Found them both happily basking on the basking platform a little bit ago!
