This is a redfoot I got from a pet store. They told me it was a female, about 8 months old. I know she's not that young. Does she seem healthy? How old would you guess her? Is it a her? She's a great eater, active, and very sweet. I don't know anything about reds, but I'm sure someone will be along shortly.

Yes you have a girl .....and looks to be 6" + correct? That my friend is around 5 years old ...........Needed higher humidity while young as noted by the pyramiding. You can start to help this out by keeping a humid environment. Nonetheless .. Good looking little “ yellow” head… RF

In my opinion she looks like she's healthy. I have a male redfoot thats about six years and he's about 7 inches. I hope that helped some.

I'm with n2 torts on the pyramiding. Keep the humidity up and the new growth should come in smoother. And get her on a good diet . She's lucky you found her.
