...A pretty little Russian tortoise! Bless my husband's heart, he knew I always loved turtles and had raised some red eared sliders in the past, so he must have thought a tortoise was a close approximation...sigh. Anyway, here I now am, brand new to the tortoise world, and in the four days that I've had this little darling (named her Nadya) this forum has been a godsend! I am so grateful for all the helpful advice and I can't wait to learn more as Nadya begins to adjust to life with her new family
