Olive tree leaves

Hi - I read through some threads on feeding olives to tortoises. Sort of inconclusive. I was wondering though if anyone has had any experience with feeding olive leaves to a desert tortoise (Gopherus).

This is fascinating. I would not have thought any creature likes olive tree leaves, they are so bitter.

The more bitter, the better for a tortoise, I suppose!
