Old plant has first bud

I have had this cactus for years it was tiny when i got it, and this morning i noticed it's first flower bud, does any one know if it is a day bloomer or night bloomer?

I don't know what it is.....but I want one. The only bad thing about living in NY.....some plants I have to drag in for the Winter, and then out in the Summer. I'd love to see it when the bud opens.

I use to carry this one in and out in one hand now I use a handcart, I have several large plants that I cart twice a year.(it gets cold here also)

I think its a Cereus peruvianus monstrose. If that's true, its a night bloomer. I also have the monstrose version, and it has NEVER bloomed, so what a lucky soul you are!!
