Well this sucks! I'm not exactly sure why the mold exploded all of a sudden. Mabey it's because I put some wild apples in there... but it's huge! What do I do about this? Just remove it all ? If I keep any of the old substrate will it contaminate the new soil? Bummer. What do I clean up the enclosures with?20231030_120230.jpg

Wow, it's like someone puked mold lol.
I personally would dump it, scrub the bottom and sides with something that will kill any mold spores that got into the wood or whatever it's made from, let it dry completely and add fresh baked substrate.
Bake 250 for about 3-4 hours. This helps kill any bugs, eggs, mold, etc.

I would remove the lot deep clean enclosure, ventilate and add new back in. Disenfect all loose contents I.e hides as well.

What did you do about it? Did you just dump everything?
