We can hook her up W, all the way to 10"!

Size as we all know, does matter. LOL

I've try to keep her with hides but not so large that she gets lost in them. Intuitively, I think she wants one closer to her size so she feel snug.....but that's all projection, not fact!

She used to use a 3" fitting size for most of her 1st two years and was tiny in them for most of it. Last summer she graduated to the 4" size but I can see 6" in her near future. She's becoming a nice, slightly beat up "teenager turtle".

What's really cool is that I can feel her growth when I hold her, becoming larger and larger in my hand...over the past couple years. Neat!

Not that big Tammy, 8" long for a box turtle is pretty good size. Maybe 2-3 lbs/1 kilo or so. I'm not sure about the weight b/c till Matilada, I never weighed one with any real accuracy.
