Nice pics, very nice...thanks

Got to be getting into the 30s at night by now up there, here we're into the very low 40's a dozen miles North of Annapolis a couple of times last week. The weather changed here about 8-9 days ago, clearly a different feel. People who hang outside, prob nearly everyone here knows what I mean.

He's gorgeous. Beautiful. I've never had an Eastern with all the color.

he's been here a long time , was full grown when i got him , seeing how big hatchlings get in 10-15yrs , i'd guess he was at least 15-20 when i got him , he has to be at least 35yrs old .....never been sick , and he survived the dog proofing years .......... makes me believe over grown beaks and nails have something to do with lack of sunlight and physiological imbalances ........ unless i see and throw him a worm , which usually only happens in the spring and early fall , i don't believe i've ever seen him eat .........

I really really enjoy my box turtles, but more then half of my currant box turtles have over grown beaks.awful condition nails and without tails. Most of my box turtles are rescues.so they were in bad shape when I got them. So I ended up keeping a few. Now I have 3 with closed swollen eyes not eating I thought it was lack of Vit A, but my normal procedure to make them better is not working.IDK
