I’m always checking what’s a safe feed but when I compare what’s local growing I’m usually wrong on identifying . Would you please tell me if these are safe? I’m in Mb. Canada

The first one is black medic, edible but not palatable.

The next one is prickly lettuce, or one of thse similar and edible.

The third one is groundsel, not edible.

I don't recognise the last one.

Agreed on the first three. Fourth one could possibly be violets but I'm not at all sure about it.

Thanks. We have been getting record high heat where I am this summer and I’ve noticed a lot more types of weeds that I haven’t seen before. These were all new to me. I have a large area that I grow them and it had been mostly dandelions and plantain ( probably not the right spelling) and that was pretty much it. So I’m assuming the change is do to heat as it had been the same for years

That is the right spelling!

We had rain this year after many years of drought. The weeds weren't all that different in my immediate area but there sure were a lot more of them.

Google says the last picture MIGHT be Campanula rapunculoides. If it IS creeping bellflower (common name) then it's edible.
