I have two questions:

1. What night temperature should hatchlings be kept at? The hatchling is just a few days old and another one is hatching as I type this. The substrate is coconut coir, which of course is kept moist/wet.

2. Also is a PowerSun bulb or a ZooMed UBV fluorescent tube best for hatchlings?

I have found with my leopard hatchlings that they decide what temp to sleep in, no matter where I place them. Some stay close to the ceramic heating element zone which stays about 85-88 degrees. Some move further away and some prefer to bury in the humid hide which is around 80 degrees. I've even found a few that moved to the cool side overnight.

As for bulbs, more of your choice. I use a zoomed UVB bulb for my basking area currently.

Room temperature is fine for Russian hatchlings. GB often recommends it drop down to low 60s.

This time of year I would put them outside for an hour a day or so of real sunshine and just use a regular incandescent flood bulb indoors for heat during the day. A MVB will be fine, but if you use a florescent tube, you will still need a heat source.
