Hello,
I was wondering what everyone used for night time heating for a tortoise .

I have a russian tortoise (3 years old) and I want to add extra heating at night for when it gets below the temperature range.

I use ceramic heating elements.

When I had smaller ones I used the che (ceramic heat element) also.

What type of enclosure?

I prefer to use radiant heat panels in closed chambers, and hanging CHEs work best in open topped enclosures. Either needs to be controlled with a thermostat.
