I was checking on my leopards tonight and saw my female just digging away. I came back a bit later and found this.

Congrats! It seems that leopards everywhere are starting to lay.

Wow-congrats on the eggs.
Will you incubate them or leave them in the ground to incubate?
Good luck

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

I will incubate them. I am in Canada so the weather isnt the greatest for leaving them in the ground. I wish I could though!

Wow Dave. That's a lot of eggs for a leopard clutch. Congrats. Keep us posted on how they develop.

Great you are in Canada-I tend to assume that most forum members are in the US.(I shouldn't make assumptions:rolleyes:)
Which province are you located in?
Good Luck with the eggs-do you use a hovabator or reptibator or similar?
Thanks

That is a nice surprise. Good luck, have you had any eggs before this?

I have about 25 eggs from her in the incubator right now. In total she has laid close to 40 eggs so far, averaging probably about 7 per clutch with this one be the highest yet. Here is a thread (http://www.tortoiseforum.org/Thread-Funny-looking-egg#axzz1Tk6SY51d) on her last clutch of 9 eggs with one that was shaped like a peanut.

I have a commercial fridge that I bought off kijiji and converted into an incubator. Before this I used coolers that I turned into incubators but this one seems way better at holding the temps.

There seems to be a few of us Canadians lurking around on this forum! I'm from Ontario, about an hour outside of Toronto.
