Little baby sliders are so cute! :D I like how their shell darkens.
Just remember, in just a few years you'll have a few 10''+ turtles to house... while it's actually a bit of fun to have larger turtles, they're difficult to house and keep clean! :p

I'm ready for them to be large! In about three years when I graduate high school my family is going to be moving out of the city and moving out into the country so hopefully I can make them a nice pond! My red eared slider are getting real big! They're both about 6 inches.

I'm also hoping both of the babies are females so I can keep them together, I know they get larger but I've read that males get real aggressive towards each other.

That'll be great :D
Ponds are the best for sliders... I'm long overdue :(
:D:p Just wait, one day you'll wake up an swear they grew a inch overnight! I wish I could have seen mine from baby to adult :D

I don't know. When all three of mine were together, they had no issues o_O
But I think in general, girly torts/turtles are nicer to each other than males.
What are the 6'' guys?

I haven't had aquatics for quite a while, but that baby looks like a false map or a yellow bellied slider, not a RES....
I don't ID well, but I keep doing it....:(

He is a baby yellow bellied slider, we were talking about my other two red eared sliders.
