So today I went to my local reptile store (Jurassic pets) and I just went in to get some bedding and they were having a huge sale 25% off supplies and 50% off animals so I went to the tortoises and there was only 1 Leo left 7 sulcatas and 1 red foot so i showed my mom and she said (s)he was too pretty to pass up so I got it his/her name is kurtis I call him kurtis the Turtis ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1414280242.353976.jpg

S/he is pretty, but of course s/he is, it's a leopard:). Don't forget to read Toms, threads below in my post for proper housing to grow him/her healthy and smooth. Looks like some slight pyramiding is forming already.

Yea about the pyramiding either the person who hatched him didn't take good care of the newborns or he had a previous owner who no longer wanted him

Get him in a warm and humid environment and you probably will not notice it as an adult. If you do, they are just as beautiful

Zoo med tortoise houses are ok for when they are young but for that price you can easily get/make something much larger. Which you will eventually need. Just a thought.
