Hi everyone. I am a new tortoise owner (mom). This is my first time to this site. I've had my redfoot tortoise for 4 days now and am loving it. Right now I am drawing up plans for a tortoise table. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what plants I can plant in the table for my baby. I've researched many types of edible plants and would like to know if some plants are easier to maintain than others. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I can't remember now if it was terryo or someone else that posted about Frog moss, or Mood moss. I bought some to plant next to my water dish, and though it's not as pretty as some other keepers', it's alive!

Greetings Lilia ~ And welcome to TFO! I'm sure if you look at the lists already suggested, you will find what you are looking for. ;) Also, there is a tab for enclosures that you might wish to check out to give ya some good ideas for a tort table ~ some of the peeps here have done an amazing job with their tables & most show pictures of such.

Anyways, once again, Welcome,
Enjoy your new shelled family member!!

Anything on the safe list the requires low light and can handle a moist climate should do fine ^_^ Google each plant for its care requirement to see if it will work in that environment. Good luck!
