New sulcata owner

Hi there. I'm a new owner to a 1.5 year old sulcata that I'm just in love with. I was wondering. The man said he thought he had a male and female. I adopted the one he thought was a female. Can you tell the sex at that age? With my desert tortoise, I wasn't able to tell until just last year and he is 11 years old.

it wouldnt hurt to post pictures maybe someone on here can give you an educated guess if it cant be sexed yet
