I don't have a tortoise (probably in a few years), but I do have a box turtle yearling. She sleeps most of the time, too. However, instead of "lazy" she prefers to be thought of as "efficient" in her expenditure of energy!Thanks for the tips I will try soaking Tort for longer but he always seems he wants to get out after 10 minutes! I have been adding calcium D3 powder to his greens every few days but will look into vitamin B - thanks again! Glad someone else agrees, thought i had a lazy tortoise!!
It really depends on the cat litter tray. Some are as tall or even taller than a dishpan. The smallest litter trays are probably between 3 and 4 inches deep.I don't own a cat, but a litter tray sounds a bit shallow. Your tort will be able to see out of it

I like the hide. I have bought the largest hide I could find and Opo has out grown it. Because of my enclosure the hide I had made from a wood carver from the Philippines is to big. I can custom make one the way yours is made.here’s a few pictures of the little guy
