New home for Superman. (lots of pics)

We have been working really hard on getting our Nile Monitor into a bigger home and with my boyfriend working every other weekend it's been a time struggle but we're finally finished!! Here are some pics of the build and of her enjoying her new space.

The shell is an 8x6x6 frame.

It's fully insulated on the sides and the roof.

We built a hide box with a hinged lid for her in one corner

The top of the hide is also a basking platform and there is a ramp along the back wall that leads to a higher platform as well.

We still need to add more substrate but for the most part, we're good to go.

Superman came to us already named. We didn't find out she was for sure a female until just a couple months ago. Doesn't seem right to change her name now.
