We recently moved our 1+ year old Russian Tortoise to a much newer enclosure. He has a history of going off food for a day or two when we change things, but this has been going on for almost 2 weeks now. The enclosure is large enough now that he can sneak into a "cooler" corner and had been doing that for the first week -- just spending almost the whole day buried. We put in a temporary wall so that he has to stay on the warmer side -- and it's warmer than his last enclosure was -- so he's actively moving around and sunning himself and whatnot but he still won't eat. We've offered his favorite leaves at the same time every day and he will sniff them carefully then eventually walk through/around them and bury himself or just move to another part of the enclosure and sit. He's been drinking during his soaks, but we're not sure if there's anything else we can do to convince him to eat? Is it just a matter of waiting him out in terms of adjusting to this new enclosure? Thank you for any tips!
