Just built a 8x3x20 in tall. 3/4 inch wood with tight wooden lids. How much heat watts will I need to maintain a solid 80/85 degrees? Tryin to be efficient. Thanks

It's hard to say. Start with a mvb for day time light, heat and UVB. Then also add a CHE 150 watt for night time heat. See how that works, you may need to add another heat source or you may not. You may also need to leave the CHE on day and night. Get a temp gun, most accurate and do a test run before you add a tort. BTW, what kind of tort is this for? Age of tort?

Red foots. A few youngsters and sub adult. I have a 250 watt che but may be to much power for the socket? It says 660 watt/240 volt on the back. Thoughts?
