I was lucky enough to pick up four of these little gems from a friend of mine, to eventually go with my yearlings. These are amazing, and I don't know if the photos will show it, but they have the most striking coloration I have seen in young blandingii. The yellows are so bright and the yellow blotches on the carapace are so beautiful.

Nice-looking turtle. Looks sort of like the actinemys.

Very cool! I have never kept them before, but I'm working on fixing that.

They do look like Actinemys. Many people want to keep Emydoidea and Actinemys in the Emys genus. I keep all three, and they ARE very similar.

Nice Gerard! I'm jealous since you will surely get adults, while I wait for the better part of a decade for mine to mature. But, I wouldn't mind buying a hatchling or two from you down the line to diversify my little operation.
