Nelson loves cactus!

It has been unusually warm in Illinois- 80 degrees today, woo! Nelson and I spent some time outside.

My favorite

He found some garlic mustard!

Staring at the shell of a sunflower seed

Blocks in my neighbor's yard that I want to steal for Nelson's outdoor enclosure

We have a Mexican grocery store around here that sells it already chopped. Nelson is lucky! Unfortunately the cactus goes bad before he gets a chance to eat it all (you can see it's already yellowing in the picture) but it's still a nice treat!

I hope you are kidding. Black will make you stand out at night. Grey or blue is a much better color for night ops...
