I think he is ether a desert or sulcata???

My tortoise only has one nostril... But at least he's different! ^_^

Yes, indeedy...a very, very dry desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii).

P.S. I can't tell the difference between the G. agassizii and the G. morflaki (sp?), so they're all agassizii to me)

- Found in valleys in Mojave desert
-Lays eggs April through mid July

-South and east of the Colorado river stretching down into Mexico
-Flatter pear shape
-Found on rocky hillsides in the Sonoran desert
