Need advice

So I recently redid my turtles aquarium, I bought the turtle topper house that sits on top of tank and added more lightening and he has more places to relax but now I’m getting worried because he use to follow your finger and be active and move a lot and now he just floats around and lays on his bed underwater or in the rocks and doesn’t really move much. He has only gone in the turtle topper house once and usually just hangs on to the edge to float. I added warm water and moved his heat lamp hoping maybe that would help but I’m starting to get nervous. Yes he comes up for air and swims a little but mainly sleeps and is just not like he use to be a couple days ago.

Did you wash and sanitize the topper before you put it in? I'm wondering if there's something toxic about it.

I rinsed it out, just like I did all the rocks and decor. I can rewash it if needed.

Maybe try turning the new lights off for a while to see if that has any impact? Kinda one at time new things and see what causes the allergy

Okay. I cleaned the topper again, and I’ll turn lights off.
