hi it was lovely yesterday so i took a couple pic's of my hatchlings from december enjoying the sunshine.i have just hosed the enclosure down so it looks a bit wet.

thanks for the suggestion Yvonne ,i have tried the dot system in the past although with tippex .some years we do better than others 20 dots on a tiny hatchling can look silly.emysemys said:Might I suggest that instead of the large number painted on their carapace that you just put a little dot in the center of a scute? One dot, two dots, etc. I use nail polish because it stays on longer. And if you just dot it in the very center of a scute it isn't a problem.

When you get to many dots in a scute, then you start with one dot in one scute and one dot in the one next to it and go from there.
