I think the increase in humidity is absolutely what they needed. Lucas' shell is looking smoother. He used to spend most of his time in the huddlehouse which was not wet inside now I have cocunut and spagnum moss in there and keep it damp.

I was wondering the same thing. I run 1x 4's across the middle of our kiddie pool for support.

The wood rod is ziptied to the wood frame and then the rest sits on the little hidey hut, so no chance of it falling in. :)
