I made this to go in a new 6x3 indoor enclosure that I will be starting in the next week or so. I am also working on side pieces to go with the background.

Curious...what did you use for the molding type material...not the plants nor the moss but the base of the mold..?

Thanks! It is made with "Great Stuff" spray foam insulation sprayed on a sheet of plywood and then carved. The tree has silicone over that with coir on it. The spots between the tree and the rocks have just silicone with shredded moss on the plywood.
Here are the sides I am currently working on. They are just rough carved foam at this stage.

Sides are finished! And now if it would stop raining, I will get started on the enclosure itself.

Looks awesome. What did you do for the color?paint? Also how does that hold up to humidity and mold. Im def going to give this a try

Thanks for the compliments!! I'm pretty proud of them. :)

The paint is latex house paint. I just bought some of the sample size containers they have at Lowes. I used liquid water color paints to tint the gray and brown to give me more shades to work with. Whatever the base color is going to be, get more than you think you will need. The foam, once carved, will really soak up the paint. You won't need nearly as much for each additional coat. This is the same technique they use to make backgrounds for terrariums, so it should hold up fine. You just don't want it to go below the substrate. I plan to attach some air plants to the rocks also.
