She is very cute. I would get some humidity in there for keeping her growing smooth. She has very slight pyramiding and it will not progress any further with humidity. Read Toms threads below for a better understanding.

What's the best way to get more humidity as I'm pretty new to this

I would buy the bricks. I think you get more for your money. I have never heard of the stuff you posted in the link. I'm sure it would be fine though.
Unfortunately, there are still to many people, pet stores, vets, zoos, etc that don't know how to raise a tortoise properly. Yours has not been taken that bad care of, still fairly smooth. So,with your knowledge you have now and adding humidity, I bet when she is an adult, the slight pyramiding will not even be noticeable.

So I finally got round to getting a tape measure so I can measure him/her
03/08/14 280g weight
07/08/14 4 inches length
Think he/she is doing well according to shop I got Georgie from she is between 12 and 18months is the first chance I have had to weigh and measure him her

You bought that tortoise just in the nick of time! She needs the place she spends the most time in to be humid - likely where she sleeps. It's not easy to raise humidity in their entire enclosure unless it's a completely sealed system. I've bred leopards for several years and I built a humid hide in part of their enclosure that is about 2'x4'x 18" tall with those walk-in plastic freezer flaps for a door so they can walk in and out on their own. (You can find clear plastic floor mats by the role at hardware stores, typically used to protect carpet I think, and just make slices in that). Then I just stuck a cool mist humidifier in the humid hide and have it running 24/7. It's not ideal but it gets the humidity up to 60% - 70%. Lastly, leopards are susceptible to RNS (runny nose) and it's almost always due to temps too low.

Congrats on that little gal. She'll bring you lots of joy!
