My first hacthlings!

Ok, so after 2 & a half months, i have successfully hatched out my first Crested Gecko babies.
i never really intended to breed them, but I aquried a pair of crested geckos that were housed together & now the female is laying a clutch every month :]

Here, i present Norbert:

Norbert has a clutch mate, but s/he is extremely burnt out and cannot be paparazied at this moment.

congrats I have a pair of cresteds also and got my first hatchlings last year. It sure is fun watching the come out of their eggs. The baby looks great.

Keep it away from any Pacman frogs, though.

Hah, Good one! Good thin about these geckos is that they change throughout their lives! Can't wait to see what s/he looks like later on.

Ok I can be a little anal retentive sometimes, and this will be one of those moments. Are gecko babies called hatchlings? and will you be keeping them or selling them?

I am not sure on the actual term, I always hear & read people calling them "hatchlings". I will be keeping them for awhile & maybe even give some away. Why do you ask, mister?

I was under the impression that anything that hatched out of an egg was considered a "hatchling" when young.

Awww, Norbert is SO adorable! Congrats on your first hatchie, Abe!

How exciting!! I would love to watch an animal hatch- any animal! (I saw a donkey being born at a petting zoo, but it's not quite the same :p )

Well I figured if you were eventually gonna sell them I would buy one from you.
